Joanna Bowzyk

I joined CPL in the summer of 2026, after spending a few years working primarily in tourism and hospitality across the world. Returning to a more traditional type of job and work pattern was intimidating at first, but the warm and welcoming team I am now part of quickly made the transition smooth. Supporting my colleagues in their roles and helping our landlords and tenants is rewarding, knowing that our work has a real-life impact.

Away from the office (and sometimes even on my lunch breaks!), I'm passionate about fibre arts such as crochet and embroidery, reading a good fantasy book, and trying new and delicious foods. To satisfy the appetite for the likes of adventure I had before returning to Cambridge, I explore the local area with my Australian partner through a tourist's lens, in an effort to persuade him to consider it our long-term home.
