What it's like working for Cambridge Property Lettings

Its been a joy to work for CPL these past 3 years. Every job role has its challenges but I've always felt supported and encouraged along the way.

Full or Part Time Property Manager Mainly Working From Home

Due to growth, we have a vacancy for an experienced Property Manager to join our friendly team. Due to Covid-19, the majority of us continue to work from home as will the successful applicant. You will need to live within 30 minutes of Cambridge as you will be required to visit properties for inspections, maintenance issues, checkouts, etc. This is a full-time position but we are happy to consider two people working for a minimum of 4 hours each day. 

In brief, the role requires;

A minimum of two years recent experience as a Property Manager, preferably ARLA qualified.

To be willing to work towards an OFQUAL regulated level 3 qualification in Lettings.

A clean driving licence.

You will have a full understanding of current lettings legislation, the tenancy application process, preparation of a tenancy agreement, Landlord and Tenants rights and safety requirements for properties. You will also have the ability to deal with checkouts and end of tenancy deposit returns in line with ARLA guidelines.

You will be confident in all aspects of general property maintenance and able to recommend appropriate improvements when required, experienced in instructing contractors, obtaining quotes, raising job instructions and ensuring work is completed within an acceptable time frame and to satisfactory standards and on budget.

The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in spoken and written form is also an important part of the role.
